BSc (Hons) (Network Technology and Cybersecurity)

Graduates of this course will acquire the necessary skills required to manage a network and maintain its security. We also porovide laboratory facilities, for the study of key areas, such as, network operating systems,network management and network implementation. This program offers a unique opportunity to learn about specialist security techniques and use real-world networking equipment in a security context. Students are also educated about market-leading Cisco Routing & Switching Techniques, security appliances, ethical hacking techniques, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing and data encryption technology. This program also offers flexibility in the final year; with optional units including areas such as Windows Server, Exchange, Administration and aVaried Catalog of Linux Administration/Unix Shell Scripting / Emerging Web Technologies and Cloud Computing/SAP Administration

Entry Requirement
Either Pass in:
3 subjects at A-Level and and 1 subject at subsidiary level at Higher School Certificate Examination;
OR Pass in:
2 subjects at A-level and 2 subjects at subsidiary level at the Higher School Certificate Examination;
OR Pass in:
3 subjects at A-level at the London General Certificate Examination;
Or
The French Baccalaureate
Or
The International Baccalaureate
Or
Qualifications awarded by other recognised institutions and approved by Academic Council as satisfying the minimum requirements for admission.
Or
Students having completed the NCC Level 4 Diploma in Business IT/Diploma in Computing will be allowed to do a 2 – year top – up in Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) (Network Security and Cybersecurity)
Or
Students having completed the NCC Level 5 Diploma in Business IT/Diploma in Computing will be allowed to do a 1 – year top – up in Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) (Network Security and Cybersecurity)
